Hi all. I'm still a bit ill, from the cold. It hasn't gone away yet. I'm hoping to get better tomorrow. The homestay family have been giving be some of their homemade remedy.
with like honey and lemon, so I've been well looked after. I still try to socialise a bit, regardless of how I feel. Gotta practice the lingo. So I had today what they call an Once which is like a tea time I guess. They have it at like 5 o'clock, they eat just bread and vegetables and cake, and some weird jam made of milk? That you put on your cake http://casino-games.my/virtual-casino-games/. Sometimes they don't eat dinner afterwards, sometimes they do. But it's usually just with a tea or coffee. But then everybody at the school decided to go and have an alcoholic beverage in the centre. I always thought the centre was near the beach but actually it's not. It's about a 10 minute walk away from the beach. And the prices are insanely different. Like in the centre you pay half of what you'd pay near the beach for a drink. So, one tip for you guys if you are thinking of coming to Viña del Mar go to the centre to drink. Although it is a bit more dangerous and you have to take care of your belongings a bit more there. I better go and get some sleep, I gotta get better. I'll update you on how things go tomorrow. See you later! Hi all, i'ts Friday, end of the semana, the week. It's been a long week but very enjoyable. I'm feeling better today. The good news is that I received a job interview. Much earlier than I expected. For a school that organises lessons in people's homes and they kind of send you there to teach and it looks very professional and very online based. Looks like I could learn a lot from the way the company works. But the interview will be in Santiago, so it means that I have to get up there. It's very positive, Seb's still looking, I'm just hoping that he we be able to finds something. But we've still got quite a lot of time so nothing to worry about. This weekend what do we have planned? So our homestay mother wants to take us to the casino because our homestay father works there. I'm not sure what we will do there but anyway. I've just come back from the pharmacy because I'm getting bitten to hell by mosquitoes. Don't listen to the internet when they say Chile doesn't have many mosquitoes because that's not true. I'm starting to miss everyone though, especially my friends in Japan and my family in England. For you guys that are listening, I miss you and I love you and I hope everything is OK.Anyway peace out see ya later. So we've stumbled across a wine festival. Seb is very happy about. We've got loads of different wines inside the Casino. And we are about to try. He's is in his element.
